Bangor, ME – Five-Vehicle Pileup on I-95 Leaves One Injured
Bangor, ME (March 19, 2025) – A five-vehicle crash on I-95 near the northbound on-ramp from Broadway resulted in one person being injured on the morning of March 19. According to the Maine State Police, the accident occurred just before 8:00 a.m. when several vehicles had come to a stop at the merging point of the on-ramp and the highway. A driver approaching the area failed to stop in time, leading to a rear-end collision that triggered a chain reaction, involving a total of five vehicles. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assess injuries and provide medical aid. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Bangor for further evaluation. Others involved in the crash were checked at the scene and did not require hospitalization. Authorities remained at the site for an extended period, working to clear debris and direct traffic. Maine State Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
