Auburn, ME – Driver Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 NB/MM 75
Auburn, ME (November 22, 2024) – A driver was hospitalized following a serious multi-vehicle collision early Friday morning, November 22 on I-95 near mile marker 75 in Auburn. According to Maine State Police, the crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes. A vehicle traveling north lost control and stopped in the roadway after spinning out. A box truck traveling behind it collided with the stationary car and then struck a nearby tractor-trailer. The impact caused the box truck to roll over the guardrail, resulting in significant damage. The driver of the box truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for treatment. Authorities have not reported any other injuries related to the incident. Maine State Police continue looking into the factors contributing to the crash.
